When the customer was choosing a local Scarborough gutter contractor he choose GutterPro because we were close by and because we were not offer a cheap install but a quality gutter installation. What separated us from a contractor down the road was our attention to detail. The customers home has what most homes have in Scarborough Maine a double fascia board or what most know it by a shadow board. Well in this case the shadow board was not big enough to hang the gutter off and pitch it properly. The bigger fascia board was to low and would cause water to run over the gutter, so we installed 1x3 vinyl board below the shadow board to add support to the gutter as it pitches down the fascia. This a common option in our contracts but most gutter installers will shy away from this because it may at a few hundred dollars more to the contract.
